A little bit pregnant? 

What if a client told you they were going to try a mutual fund for a few weeks to see if investing really works? 

As with many things in life, it is most profitable for producers to buy in to a selling system. What if a producer wanted to do estate planning and tried to find a few rich folks to see if worked?  What if a producer pursued a seminar selling system and delivered only a few sporadic, unrehearsed presentations?   What if someone pursued worksite marketing and called on businesses for a week to see if that business was a good one? …And the list of analogies could go on and on. 

This principal holds true in our business niche. You gotta plug in to get turned on.

If  you were to consider plugging in, what would you look for in an opportunity before making a long-term commitment to stay with it? 

I would think a good personal fit would be the place to start. Do you like to help protect families and be the agent of unending good for generations to come?  Are you good on the telephone?  Do you embrace technology?  Can you implement follow up systems with dogged determination?   If so, direct response life insurance marketing is for you. 

Next, we’d want a good, healthy niche to work in. Direct response is one of the only growth segments of the life insurance business today. In an industry that has been flat for about a decade, it is good to know that sales from direct marketing are on the rise!  Insurance companies know this, the capital market recognizes it, and we know it here at our company. 

We would want to work with a solid company with ethical leadership, good people and a high level of credibility…Our company is growing on solid ground.
